Turmeric tea can be made easily and benefits your health if taken multiple times a day. Nutritionists and naturopathic practitioners may recommend turmeric tea as a daily supplement or complementary treatment for people who have–or are at risk of developing–certain diseases and conditions.
Things You’ll Need:
• Ginger powder
• Small pot
1. Measure 4 cups of water into a small pot and bring to a boil on the stove. Make sure that the water has come to a full boil.
2 . Add 1 tsp. of turmeric and 1 tsp. of ginger powder to the boiling water and reduce to simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. This will extract the beneficial compounds from the turmeric and ginger. Ginger has many benefits for health also.
3. Remove the pot from the stove and strain the tea into a cup. The particles of turmeric and ginger will be filtered out.
4. Add honey to taste and a slice of lemon. The honey and lemon will make the tea a bit more palatable.
